After holding space and helping with the Artful Convention, a conference for chiropractors and healers and taking care of my Mom and Brother who were visiting, I felt depleted and exhausted. It felt like everyone needed something from me and I couldn’t give anymore. I was on my cycle in the “I am annoyed, leave me alone” day. I asked my Mom and brother Ben to drop me at the beach and pick me up in an hour. I wrote these words from that place. I had fun saying it and also playing with the rhyming that came out fairly naturally.
