I wrote this poem after speaking to my friend about President Trump. We discussed how he grew up and was treated. We agreed that if we are really to learn how to love, we have to be able to love people we dislike and disagree with. I wrote this poem about Donald Trump and how we can transform our dislike, hate, and resistance to him into love. If we do,
we could potentially transform the impact and harm we are feeling from his presence. It might be worth a try.
